Bio

Clark was born in Boston Massachusetts to Mary Layne and Robert Gregg. Clark attended the Ohio Wesleyan University for two years before moving to Manhatten and enrolling in the New York University where he obtained a BFA in Drama at the Tisch School of the Arts in 1986. He started his career in theatre in New York where he co-founded the Atlantic Theater Company in 1983.

He started his journey into the Marvel (and eventually Whedon) verse with a small role in the first Iron Man movie, and soon signed a multi movie deal with Marvel as the character expanded across the movies and eventually as a leading role in TV Series, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

As well as acting, Clark has also taken written and directed two films, Choke in 2008 and Trust Me in 2013.

Trivia

Married to Jennifer Grey, the daughter of Joel Grey who appeared in Buffy the Vampire Slayer Season Five as Doc.
